Looking to get into shape or live a healthier lifestyle? Home gyms can accomplish these tasks while being very convenient and practical. Many people want to work out, but don’t like to work out in public, or don’t have the time to drive back and forth to the gym. For these people home gyms are the perfect solution.

With today’s exercise equipment you can get a great workout in the privacy of your own home with no long lines, no matter what time it is day or night. No matter what you want to accomplish, whether muscle building or to slim down, home gyms can’t be beat.

Many people love treadmills, stair masters and ab exercises to lose weight and increase muscle tone. For men and women that want to bulk up, there are plenty of weight benches and universal systems that can have you bulked up in just a few months.

Home gyms are reasonably priced. You can find a great treadmill or stair master with great features and accessories for less than $300. If you want to work out with dumbbells or weights, then finding a set is extremely easy and the price tag is usually less than $100. So if you are sick of working out in public, waiting on long lines or commuting to the gym, work out at home.

by Richard Helfant
Physical activity is the best first step to health. It is the most direct way for you to discover, or rediscover, the wonder of your body. It allows you to experience vitality and provides an immediate sense of control of your body’s health and well-being. In addition to having its own inherent benefits, physical activity is a great physical and mental health facilitator, and wonderfully regenerative. Your senses come alive and are attuned more delicately when you engage in regular physical activity.

There is good news about actually doing physical activity. Research has shown that one can obtain its major health benefits with a minimum amount of effort and a minimum amount of time. The old myth of “no pain, no gain” and of long-distance jogging as the only way to achieve meaningful health results have been put into perspective. The evidence is clear: you can enjoy the benefits of physical activity with the equivalent of walking a half an hour a day, four or five days a week.

The Institute for Aerobics Research in Texas evaluated the fitness levels of more than 3,000 people and followed their progress for eight years. While the sedentary did have a mortality substantially higher than the more fit, the principal benefits of physical activity came even after very little physical activity. Those who simply walked an average of 30 minutes a day decreased their risk of heart disease by almost half.

The American Heart Association has stated that a sedentary life-style is a risk factor for heart disease comparable to smoking, cholesterol abnormalities, and high blood pressure. It also pointed out that low-intensity physical activity, performed regularly, can lower the risk of heart disease.

Any physical exercise is better than none! Housework, gardening, shuffleboard–anything that causes us to move–is beneficial. And, the benefits are not limited to heart disease alone. Physical exercise reduces stress, improves eating habits and weight control, increases good (HDL) cholesterol, and decreases triglyceride levels.

When beginning an exercise program, choose an activity that you think will be fun. Try walking, cycling or doing aerobics with a friend, a family member or as part of a class. The company may reinforce your commitment. If exercise is new for you, begin slowly, and keep in mind that there are a host of activities that you can try.

And, for those of you who have been sedentary most of your lives, the good news is that you have the most to gain from even the simplest physical activities. Gradually work them into your daily life. Start with small, comfortable activities, for instance:

(1) Walking to your destination whenever feasible

(2) Taking the stairs rather than relying exclusively on elevators and escalators

(3) Doing more physical tasks around the house or yard.

(4) Strolling around the block, around your neighborhood, in the park, at the mall. Keep your activity comfortable, keep it easy, and above all, keep it a part of your life.

General: Hair is constantly going through cycles of growth, resting, shedding. When hairs that are lost are not replaced, or when more hair follicles go into the resting phase, hair loss becomes noticeable. While there is ongoing debate regarding hair loss reasons, the list below shows many of the common contibuting factors:

Aging – The period for hair loss is between the 20 and 50 years of age. Some individuals arrive at the advance stages of hair loss sooner than others although it becomes increasingly evident as people advance in age.

Cosmetic Chemicals – Particularly bleaching, permanents, coloring.

Drugs/Medications/Radiation – Included are anticoagulants, antidepressants, contraceptive pills, amphetamines, some arthritis medications, some antibiotics, some blood thinners, medicines for gout, drugs derived from vitamin-A, certain drugs for ulcers, beta blocker drugs for high blood pressure. Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy halt the growth phase of hair follicles which results in a sudden hair loss as those follicles all shed their hair at about the same time.

Heredity – Androgenetic alopecia is the term used to describe a genetic predisposition in men and women for pattern baldness or pattern hair loss. Although there is a dominant tendency for male pattern baldness, female members of a family can be transmitters as well.

Hormonal Imbalance - If the male and female hormones, androgens and estrogens, are out of balance, hair loss may result. Also an overactive or underactive thyroid gland can contribute to hair loss.

Illness and Severe Infections - These can include scalp fungal infections, Thyroid disorders, Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Diabetes, Lupus.

Immune System Disorder - Alopecia areata is an immune system disorder which causes hair follicles to stop producing hairs. Advanced forms of the disorder are identified by the terms alopecia totalis when all head hair disappears, and alopecia universalis which results in all body hair disappearing.

Menopause – Due to hormonal changes after menopause, some women find their hair begins to thin. There are a variety of treatments available involving hormone replacement therapy (HRT). There may be side effects in some cases and experimentation may be necessary under the guidance of a physician.

Poor Blood Circulation – Poor blood flow to the scalp, insufficient nutrients in the blood, or poor drainage of waste products through the lymphatic systems can all contribute.

Pregnancy - Three to six months after delivering a child, many women notice a degree of hair loss as the hair goes into a resting phase because of the physiological impact of the pregnancy on the body.

Pulling - Traction alopecia is the term used to describe loss of hair from constant pulling, as with tightly braided hair styles such as pony tails. Also the improper use of curling tongs or rollers can tug the hair so it weakens.

Sebum Buildup - Sebum buildup in the follicles attacks the hair bulb, the rounded area at the end of a hair strand which is rooted in the follicle. Sebum causes the hair bulb to shrink so the hair is not as well rooted. After the hair falls out the new hair strand growing in that follicle is weaker and thinner and the process is repeated until the hair follicle is so damaged it dies. (Sebum is a fatty substance secreted from the sebaceous glands most of which open into hair follicles.)

Stress and Nervous Disorders - Telogen effluvium is the term used for a slowing down of new hair growth because of sudden or severe stress. The stress triggers a large number of hair follicles to enter the resting stage, so a few months after the stressful event, those follicles shed hair at about the same time.

Recommendation: The NewHair Biofactors system stops hair loss within 1 week guaranteed! This hair care range from Nisim International, leaders in hair science for over 20 years, also assists in the growth of new hair. Being unable to achieve an erection once in a while is fairly common. In such cases, medication is not really needed. Sometimes, stress or drinking too much alcohol can be the reasons behind your inability to copulate. More often than not, tension or anxiety brought about by the feeling of being unable to satisfy a woman can also cause your inability to have an erection in the first place. But all these are temporary.

Taking a pill to make your organ stiff is actually not the only way to achieve an erection. If you want to provide long-term relief from your problem and boost your sexual life, you need to make permanent changes to your lifestyle and eating habits. Unless your doctor tells you that you have erectile dysfunction, there is still hope for you to enjoy a hassle-free sex life. Just follow these tips below.

Allocate Time For Exercise

Having problems down there can be caused by a wide variety of things. Being unfit is one of them. If you want to improve your sexual relationship with your wife or partner, you need to exercise regularly. Exercise will help improve your cardiovascular health, boost your stamina and endurance, and also improve your blood circulation. These factors are important in making your loved one happy and satisfied in bed.

Watch Your Weight

Studies have shown that sexual libido of men who are overweight and obese is significantly lower than those who are within normal limits. Moreover, your feeling about how you look when naked can affect your performance and erection. Maintaining a healthy weight will not only be good for your sexual health, but to your total wellbeing as well. Remember that the most serious illnesses are brought about or exacerbated by excess weight and fat.

Check Your Medication

For those who have other conditions and are taking medications, you need to talk with your doctor regarding your problem. Some drugs can actually affect your performance and ability to put ‘it’ up. Your doctor will surely help you look for other medications or treatments that will not affect your sexual performance. However, it is important that you do not discontinue or alter your drugs or treatment without the knowledge of your doctor.

Limit Alcohol Intake

A glass or two of wine can help you feel turned on; however, anything more than that may prevent you from having an erection. Thus, if you are planning to have a night of endless pleasure with your wife, girlfriend or partner, you have to lessen your alcohol intake. Besides, women hate alcohol breath.

Quit Smoking

Aside from being bad for you lungs, brain and other internal organs, smoking can also impair proper blood circulation. According to a recent study, smokers (both current and former) are around 30% more prone to suffer from impotence than non-smokers. And if smoking is bad, then using illegal drugs is worse. Aside from other problems and complications, drug or substance abuse can also cause impotence.

Reduce Stress And Anxiety

As mentioned earlier, erectile problems can also be caused by psychological reasons. Men who are suffering from stress, tension, anxiety and depression will surely find themselves not in the mood for some hanky-panky. If you want to bring the passion back into your life, you need to know how to relieve stress and ease tension and anxiety.

Taking a vacation every now and then, having a massage, drinking chamomile tea, or talking with a therapist can be helpful in easing tension, stress and whatever psychological problems you might have.

Mind What You Eat

The things that you eat can also affect your performance in bed. People who eat a lot of sugar and processed foods are most likely to suffer from impotence due to diabetes. Toxins and chemicals in the food that you eat can also make you feel sluggish and less energetic.

One way to flush out all the chemicals, waste products and toxins inside your system is through detoxification. One product that can make internal cleansing easy for you is Colopril. For more information about Colopril, go to http://www.colopril.com/.

Regular workouts not only will make your heart stronger, they may make your heart happier, too. Research shows that regular exercise reduces negative feelings. In a recent study, people who exercised at least two to three times per week experienced significantly less depression, anger, stress, and distrust in their lives than people who did not exercise.

We all know that we should exercise because it is good for us, but do you know just how good?

Lowers heart rate

The heart is a muscle. Aerobic exercise strengthens that muscle, so that your heart pumps blood more efficiently by pumping more blood with each beat. Since the exercised heart is more efficient, it transfers more oxygen to the body’s cells more easily. This in essence can lengthen your life by several years

Reduces the risk of heart disease
Exercise reduces clotting in the blood, thus reducing the risk of heart disease. Those who do not exercise run twice the risk of developing heart disease.

Reduces the risk of stroke

Lowers blood pressure

Reduces the risk of colon cancer
Regular exercise helps regulate the digestive system.

Promotes strong and healthy bones
Exercise increases circulation and flow of nutrients to the bones, reducing the risk of fractures and osteoporosis.

Stronger circulatory system and lungs

Better skin tone
Helps keep skin more elastic.

Weight loss and maintenance
Essential to both losing weight and maintaining weight loss, exercise increases the body’s metabolism (the rate at which the body burns calories), as well as increase muscle which helps burn fat.

Controls blood sugar
Physical activity helps maintain the body’s glucose levels, important especially for diabetics or those at risk for diabetes.

Controls cholesterol
Exercise increases the ratio of good cholesterol (HDL) to bad cholesterol (LDL) and also lowers triglycerides.

Helps with pain tolerance
By increasing the level of endorphins, the body’s natural pain killers, exercise can help alleviate pain, such as PMS symptoms and menstrual cramps. The deep breathing during exercise brings more oxygen to the blood, which relaxes the uterus.

Makes for easier pregnancy and childbirth

Controls physical and emotional stress
Not only does exercise reduce physical and emotional stress, but it can also alleviate bouts of anxiety or depression.

Improves your intellectual capacity
Exercise increases your productivity by helping to clear your head so you can approach your work refreshed and able to concentrate.

Promotes flexibility
Stretching exercises help elongate muscles, promoting flexibility.

Reduces backaches
Stretching exercises also reduce backaches.

Promotes a younger and healthier body
We spend money every year trying to maintain a healthy and younger body. Regular physical activity can help slow the aging process.

Prolonged independence for the older person

Strengthens immune system over the long term–less likely to get sick

Regulates your body’s waste system
Relieves constipation by increasing intestinal activity and curbs bloating by increasing perspiration.

Improves your sleep
Since your muscles are less tense, you relax more easily at night. You fall asleep more quickly, sleep more soundly, and awake more refreshed.

Gives you more energy

Better health overall

Gives an overall sense of well being
Do you want to be happier and more upbeat? Exercise boosts your self-confidence by improving your strength, stamina, flexibility, appearance, and sense of control.

Physical activity not only helps remedy medical difficulties, but it also can prevent many of those same problems from occurring.
